The main goal in all design work has been to utilise the natural terrain with minimal disturbance and achieve maximum contrast, sense of adventure and joy in the playing experience. Rhythm and continuity in the routing of the course provides the energy and balance each golf course of note possesses. Variety provides playing experiences of which one never tires both within a golf course from hole to hole and from one golf course to another. Tradition and classical form achieved by a more old fashioned, handcrafted method of construction. Colour and texture provided by natural vegetation highlight the artistic and cosmetic details and give the golf course a distinctive character or flavour. Nature is the source of inspiration in finding creative solutions for the various golf holes and for the desired rugged and natural appearance.
