Kongsberg

One of the most popular club member and green fee courses in Norway can be found a

little south of Kongsberg.

Completed in 1999, this parkland/partly woodland course has attracted much attention for

its ingenious routing and the strategic nature of many of its holes.

In fact it was voted Norway’s course of the year in 2002.

The property had much flat ground, which required a considerable amount of mounding and

bunkering to create some character. Both loops of nine have however considerable variety

thanks to changing topography and areas of woodland.
